I can't understand the "why" of it. All of the financial forms repeat the statement that management controls enough voting shares to do whatever they'd like. Fair enough, maybe not the best situation for shareholders, but it is what it is.
Then why say things that can so easily be misinterpreted? He could just as well have said they were going to do a r/s next month and even another one a month after that. Then, as investors, we could take it or leave it.
That's where we are now, anyway, at the taking it or leaving it point. So, why create bad feelings and upset people who have been paying your salaries without advancing the cause? It's a mystery.
