It's very rare that I find myself in agreement with you about anything but, on this issue, I'll have to say that you're 100% right. In fact, I can't even figure out how a term like asshole can even be considered to be offensive by anyone unless they're someone with skin so thin that a mere few minutes outside of a "safe space" could prove to be fatal. And if you get right down to it, a word like asshole, strategically used, can go a long way toward not just "hammering home" a point but it can also be used to add spice and levity to a post.
