I know this is a dumb question but I'm trying to understand margin trading. Is there a way to turn it off? I use td Ameritrade and I'm not sure why it tells me I have a negative margin balance when I have a pending deposit. I just want my funds to clear for tomorrow but it looks like the negative outweighs the positive.
