Axona is the nutraceutical, FDA-approved, that is basically powdered MCT oil. It was developed by a doctor who had to watch his mother decline due to Alzheimer's. Despite claims by another doctor that she came up with the idea, the developer of Axona is really the person who first came up with the idea that MCT oil might help.
