So now we know what the Washington trip was about. Sounds like a similar trip to Canada today to inform and get their guidelines. I took the "foreign gov'ts" language to obliquely refer to China, and probably others. While GNBT's contract was with 4 companies in China, I don't believe anything gets done in that country without CCP permission. I'm of the opinion that the China contract must have very stringent non-disclosure agreements attached to it, so that is why we are hearing little to nothing.
Also sounds to me that the computational simulations are completed, or nearly completed. Getting the blood samples to compare seems to be next. Also am very encouraged by the discussions to secure manufacturing capability - doesn't do you much good if you come up with a vaccine and then nobody can produce it for another 6 months while building up the manufacturing capability. Sounds to me like Joe and team have worked through the processes, and while not sharing everything with us, have certainly identified the issues and are trying to address them.
Fingers crossed, but not holding my breath. Although with the virus, maybe better to hold your breath?
