As you often do, you overlooked the obvious; that the face he presented to the world defined his experience and, emphatically, it wasn't a 1/2 white experience.
As he once put it, he knew who he was when he tried to hail a cab in downtown Chicago.
He learned that lesson again when the conservative birther assholes hounded him about a birth certificate that they had no good reasons to demand.
And, if you knew anything, his mother WAS proud of him.
