Yes, lets stay focused, high doses of vitamin C may not be so crazy if the Sepsis theory/treatment held by many doctors is accurate. It all ties together with why leronlimab is helping the critically ill patients who can get the drug, but only if they can get it? In the mean time, maybe high dose IV of vitamin C has merit in saving lives....by helping stop sepsis today (the number one cause of hospital infections and death). And we are waiting for the vitamin C IV test results from China.
<<Severe SARS-CoV-2 infection in NCP (novel corona pneumonia) patients can lead to sepsis, which can also lead to the release of inflammatory cytokines such as IL-6, IL-8, TNF-α, etc[8], similar to SARS and MERS[10, 11]. Inflammatory cytokines can promote the activation of blood coagulation in many ways, and then promote the occurrence of VTE (venous thromboembolism)[12-14]. Sepsis is also a common cause of disseminated intravascular coagulation (DIC)[15].And the incidence of DIC in dead NCP patients was 71.4%[3]. This suggested that abnormal blood coagulation and thrombosis were associated with poor prognosis in patients with NCP.>>
