And if you ask Fauci and his ilk, they'd absolutely agree it's a potential problem which is precisely why they want controlled, double blind placebo trials to clearly see which drug does what. Unfortunately for us, the FDA is accustomed to taking months and years for these types of trials.
This is also why I'm skeptical the FDA will grant an emergency approval to leronlimab within the next week based on "human data" from the the initial 10 emergency IND patients since many of them likely had the kitchen sink thrown at them (drug wise) to see what would work. Yes, it sure looks like leronlimab saved them but the controlled trial is the only real "standard" way to prove it to all.
I'll be happy if I'm wrong though.
