Just read an SA article by Zoltan Ban, one of the best and impartial SA mind, imo.
He convincingly argues that unlike the massive debt relief in 2008-09, this time the fiscal measures being taken by most Western governments may lead to a financial catastrophe because these trillions of "uneаrned" $$ are being poured into real economy and most likely will trigger a hyperinflation. Ban stops short of discussing what will be the consequences of such a scenario. But given the enormous indebtedness of the United States and Western economies these consequences can be nothing short of a financial and social collapse. There is only one way to avoid this---get back to work asap. And all of us here know that only our diamond can make it happen.
