Only a licensed practitioner can administer the shot. Not the register clerk/aid or in this case the test.
I am not sure how that is going to play out with DECN's kit when approved. It is based on their diabetic technology, same type of test strip (ask Bill Gates), same process now used by 35 million diabetics world wide, so perhaps no need for a licensed professional to administer the kit. An LPN, pharmacist's assistant, physician's assistant might get clearance. We shall see. And when we see, it may be a big, big, biggest deal. If the DECN pro kit doesn't require a highly credentialed professional to administer, what pharmacy, what laboratory, what home health, what church, even dental offices could all become customers almost overnight.
