Well Univec shareholders, this is Good Friday and we begin several days of high holy days. The market is closed today. So are we likely to get news at this time? I suggest the answer is no. Perhaps on Friday the 17th because that is the day after Passover. Beyond that, only two weeks remain of this month. If you are like most, the thought of yet another month is becoming all too clear. It seems every new month we are told this is “the” month, and the next month is always our time. While I have not sold a single share, and the thought of flipping is sour and distasteful, I must admit I am getting tired. For me, it is has been nearly four years of “news is imminent” and “our time is soon.” How many times have we heard “get ready?” All to no avail.
What keeps me hanging on is the reputation of Doctor Dalton and our outstanding Board of Directors. I also think about Health Resources Incorporated, PPSI, clinics, seventy thousand pharmacies, teledoc, telehealth and telemedicine. I suspect we may still have the disposable syringe business, and that business may be hidden inside PPSI. The revenue from these businesses alone could easily propel us far beyond the two or three dollar mark, and while that value may be lower than most typically propose, I can tell you now that that value would be more than welcome by me. In fact, I would be happy with .25 or .50 or a dollar per share. The thought of truly outlandish figures like one hundred or two hundred or even three hundred per share is beyond my imagination. To be honest, I could never spend that kind of money in my remaining lifetime, and so it has little meaning to me. It would, however, make life easier for many I know.
Enjoy the weekend my friends and await yet another day (or week or month or year).
