I can easily imagine families of their deceased family members asking a question like this: Why is it that in the moment when thousands of Americans were dying terrible death on ventilators would the FDA decide that those dying people had to wait for 390 patients enrolled and tested instead of 342? What exactly were those absolutely compelling reasons to add additional 48 patients and thus to lengthen the time before leronimab could save our deceased loved ones?
