For younger moderately sick but not yet critical patients I have been seeing some measurably good responses from low dose prednisone (1.5mg/kg) x 5 days along with 40-80mg of Lipitor. Some colleges I know are also using doxy instead of azithro which they think has been having a more measurable effect. I myself haven't used it.
