It is frustrating to not know anything about the clinical course of these patients after so many days. Lab evidence of immunological improvement is cool, but does it help the patient? Has that important clinical info not been presented because our CEO is a PhD and not a physician? Did he cry tears of joy just because of the improving lab numbers or because the patients are doing better as well?? Is that so hard to mention? Yanking out one's own ET tube is not a primary or secondary endpoint in any study.
