I agree with you CR regarding the phrasing. People want to know how many people were able to be taken off a ventilator and moved out of the ICU in what time frame.
Ironically it's probably not the best idea to waste time on a very short interview saying one patient self extubated. It doesn't reflect one way or another regarding the drugs efficacy. However, it may reflect on the quality of care being provided in an ICU.
I'm sure if someone is a respiratory therapist here they could elaborate on the pitfalls of self extubation if anyone is interested.
Sorry for getting into the weeds, I guess my point is. I believe Nader did a good job on the interview, but the drug and mechanism of action is too complex to speak about in a 4minute interview.
My main point that I would want to get across in an interview like that is:
LERONLIMAB has the potential to save thousands of peoples' lives by improving their ability to breathe and get them off the ventilator in days as opposed to weeks.
