IF this is true (2 of 4, and 2 of 5), then this small sample size is 4/9 (44.44%) off of vents within a few days of treatment. This number will likely increase as some patients will take longer than others to come off of ventilators.

While I think it may be higher than 50%, even at 50% that is a staggering number of lives that could be saved.
