I hope the focus is on enrolling 50 in the Phase2b/3 severe trial, as this is the population in most need, and the fastest path to approval.
It would be great if they would expand our IND to an Emergency Use Authorization and allow us to treat all critical patients immediately.
I simply cannot find any rational for not doing so. An 85% fatality rate is not difficult to improve on. Someone posted on an earlier post that the statistical probability of 10 patients improving (but not demonstrating a statistical improvement) is .001%
