My limited experience with clinical trials is that initial enrollment takes time as each hospital has to approve the process. And if you’ve ever worked in a hospital you’d know hospital administrators are rarely medical personnel but instead paper pushers who draw every single process out by having assistants for assistants and running 10 meetings a day. I digress. Once those initial hurdles are over though, the trials should enroll quickly.
