I had many , many patients on plaquenil taking that for years ,
Also my family member taking it for couple of years , yes once a year eye exam need to be done and every few months blood tests..
I never had anyone with serious side effects , maybe little GI disturbance dose related..
Taking here only for 5-7 days , I cant imagine anything bigger then maybe some GI problem , also dose related .
It is really safe drug , especially if one don't need to take for few years but only for 5-7 days ,
And President telling us we have enough..
No reason to ban !!!!! Lets doctors not Gov use their knowledge to whom to offer ...
They the experts, and they know their patients ....
