Gottlieb seems to imply Regeneron is ahead, presumably referring to its rheumatoid arthritis drug Kevzara that inhibits the interleukin-6 (IL-6) inflammatory cytokyne. Kevzara also started Phase 2/3 trial in coronavirus last week.

Great news for us is that Dr. Patterson's blood assays already show that leronlimab is doing a larger immune system recalibration that INCLUDES major suppression of IL-6. So Leronlimab efficacy should be a superset of Kevzara's! (Sorry for the mathematical terminology can't help it
