But why would the FDA let us stick the folks with COVID we have to date? Haven’t they let the cat out the bag already to some degree? When we went to them stating hey we think we can help wit CV why wouldn’t they just shut it down then and there?

THis is a very good question. They are not gods. They are also under scrutiny and find themselves in a complex constellation of actors which besides us and BP includes the WH and Trump's enemies, doctors and the public. Notice that FDA gave OK to "stick" not to us but to that anonymous "courageous doctor" and a "hero" in NYC who filed the emergency use application. The medical community in US and internationally is a powerful and largely autonomous force. And since independent and investigative journalism has been virtually destroyed in this country it is the doctors of the world who is our best hope.
