What is interesting to me is why have I not seen an absolute blistering of advertising from Zoom's competition. You would think you would see some ramped up media blitz from Skype or Hangouts or one of the others.

I understand the news from Zoom is fresh, and hard for large companies to turn on a dime, but I have not even seen one ad anywhere. Perhaps I am not spending time at all the cool places where they would advertise, however. But if I were the marketing managers of the competitors, I would be posting existing marketing material everywhere until I had new stuff created touting the safety and security of their products and that they don't sell customer data.

Unless of course, they have the same issues. Wouldn't that be something.

So instead of spending effort to let the world know you exist, you are spending the weekend shoring up your own defense to such vulnerabilities and practices.

While Verb Live is not merely a video conferencing software and is so much more, it is in the same realm and it shares a subset of the same market.
