Why wouldn't Gilead donate Remdesivir, it's useless to them? They donated it to China for weeks and didn't get the results they were hoping for, so they pulled it. Now they're trying again, somewhere else. They'll keep trying because it doesn't cost them anything to pretend they're in the game. It won't change the fact that it's not getting results that they can market.
