We're getting at least hundreds of thousands and probably more like millions of dollars of free research, for the cost of the Brilacidin being shipped to the government lab and the university.

Given that Brilacidin DOES have an effect on the virus, I hope that the government lab doesn't get so bogged down with bureaucracy that they delay the next round of testing, whatever it may be. I have more confidence in a university lab being able to move quickly, but even they will have to approve anything involving humans with an ethics committee.
