Probably another thing to take into account when allowing shorting using your shares.
In our jurisdiction if you give permission to use shares to short you're no longer the legal owner of those shares.
In case of a BK of the bank/broker that would leave me having a claim on my banker/broker, but my shares are gone.
In these times I do not want to have a claim on any banker (don't mind having a debt to them).
We're playing a domino game here, stapling debt on debt. I don't trust banks. I don't trust governments. I don't want to own bonds. Nothing like that.
No positive bank accounts, no bonds, nothing.
