Although I've spent a lot of time in Florida, mostly Gainesville, I've lived all of my life in South Carolina except for about a year in Washington DC*...... I normally fish out of Charleston SC which is about a 100 miles from Columbia.
* I lived about two blocks away from the National Zoo. This was in 2002. After the Zoo, my favorite place in DC was the Politics and Prose Bookstore. It used to be a lot of fun to go there and discuss various BS subjects with the local Nutburgers.
