Thanks Badger, and having been raised in abject poverty, and I do mean poverty, I have for years been appalled at the values the majority of peolple in the good 'ol US have entertained and adopted. Opulence, things that are taken for granted in times of plenty, excess desires, petty grievances and jealousies, etc., etc.
But my thoughts were random, not assembled in my head, but this article sums up virtually in its entirety most of those thoughts I have had since leaving my roots and being exposed to a lot of upper crust individuals in and around the Corps.
It is my fervent hope that when things return to a norm, whatever that is, that people remember and apply the lessons that this virus will reveal to us all. Good luck to all and I must admit on the lighter side, should Mexus survive the storm it created for itself, and the virus, and creates a valuable and thriving company, that I may resort to a bit of excess myself-haha!!
