I am not sure that this is any kind of short attack. It could be a fair amount simpler than that. Some people just bought into the stock and are up 100% in a couple of days. It’s only reasonable for folks to take gains off the table. Other folks who have been invested for a long time have now made massive profits and are probably taking some of their position off the table.

Of course you could be right, and I’m not saying that theory doesn’t have merit – – but all of the people I know who are invested have been talking about peeling a little bit of their position back here given how parabolic the recent gains have been.

Just to be clear, I think we’re only at the beginning of a much bigger run here – – but taking your basis off the table after a 5X multiple in just a few months makes sense to me.
