Glad she's okay, but sure hope they warned her about the drug interaction.
I don't think they should give people the antibiotic along with the anti-malarials, unless the patient is in the hospital with a heart monitor. And even then, it's dangerous. They said that they weren't able to stop the arrhythmia in the patients who died from the interaction.
I still wonder -- why zithromax? Aren't there other antibiotics that DON'T have the interaction?
