The big investment banks (Morgan Stanley, Goldman, JP Morgan) restrict OTC stocks for clients. The number of hoops I had to jump through to deposit my shares was brutal.

TD Ameritrade, E Trade and others make it much easier.

My point being that while it’s easy to buy on most platforms, being on the OTC is definitely an impediment to some investors. Uplifting will open us up to more investors.
