PSA: Wearing even DIY masks protects you and others. I post this knowing that the shorts and bashers will read this, and perhaps save their own lives, because unlike them, I would not want to endanger other people's lives no matter how worthless and evil the bashers are.

In case you can't open it, the article discusses how the CDC and WHO were utterly wrong-headed in telling people not to wear masks. Studies have shown that masks stop the spread of viruses both by protecting those who wear them from inhaling most of the tiny mucus- or saliva-plus-virus particles that people emit when coughing or breathing out, and by protecting others from such particles that YOU may breathe out, having been infected and contagious but not yet showing symptoms.
They also say that you can make an effective mask with something as simple as a couple layers of t-shirt material that you can cut and fold.
