Actually, it was NOT a good NY Post article (not shocking there, if you know the Post), because while press is nice, it basically made it seem like 2 of the 7 patients were off the ventilators without mentioning that 3 of those 7 were JUST INJECTED and we don't have info on them yet. It should have been more clear that of the 4 we have info on, 2 are now off ventilators and another 2 are much improved after just a few days of treatment.
It 2/7 makes people think the percentages of those helped is lower than it is. It was a very (typical Post) 2nd grade book report done on the bus to school that has to be given in front of the class during 1st period. And to make it seem like doctors don't really know the mechanism of action is also not quite right, as they do, which is why they thought it might help in the first place.
