I believe that Dr. Sacha is working on increasing drug half life and keeping SQ injection administration which is very easy and almost painless, and can be self administered at home. If that does not work, IM may be the other option. Here you are increasing the size and stability of the depot by using the muscle to store temporarily and slowly disperse drug into the blood rather than extending the drug plasma half life. This may require another study for side effects though. This is just IMO
