What needs to happen, in my opinion, is that we need to be allowed to treat 50 people immediately. And if the results are promising roll them all into the trial and deal with that piece later.
The government needs to extend us a line of credit to order full production runs from Samsung. Samsung needs to increase capacity to the max, and we need to bring other (US) manufactures into the fold to start preparing to be able to manufacture as well.
We need to be taking these steps now, so that when we KNOW it works we can already be ramping up production. If it doesnt for some reason we can use the inventory for HIV or cancer.
The government needs to commit a few hundred million dollars to help us manufacture right now.
