If true, this is ridiculous.
Is the FDA really going to let tens of thousand of people die by forcing everyone to wait 6 weeks before approving the medication?
This leronlimab development (and/or next week's developments) really needs to be put in front of the same decision makers who, only a week ago, were promoting a drug that had questionable efficacy and safety.
I cannot fathom why anyone who is willing to have this drug administered to save their life -- does not have that ability.
It's not like the safety profile of leronlimab is not yet understood. We understand it very well.
As such, what exactly is the harm of providing it to people who are dying?
