It's anyway impossible to compare numbers in a scientifical way. Who gets tested? How many get tested? Are there randomized tests? Of course every country uses different methodological samples, so numbers just cannot be really compared.
Besides that China is known for faking anything, not just products, so I don't trust any official information concerning Corona virus coming from there.
