I nearly coughed up a fur ball when I saw the below graphic. Shopify comes in at #2 in share of US Retail eCommerce Sales in 2019 behind Amazon. More than eBay, Walmart, and Apple. I had no idea they were that influential.
The thing about being number two is they usually have a pretty large chip on their shoulder. More crass folks would call them "first loser". And the mere fact that they show this graphic in their annual presentation tells me they have a strong desire to lessen that gap between them and number one...Amazon.
Anyone think Verb Live can help Shopify lessen that gap?.....I do! All depends on the ability to drive folks to use Verb Live, and of course, whether the tech cuts the mustard.
