Comparison to the flu are pointless. This is a 'novel' virus, no immunity, no effective drug treatment and no vaccines.
700 people/day are not dying of the flu in Italy.
The two doctors at the daily briefings are the only ones in the briefing treating this with the seriousness and the science it deserves.
Of the two of us, you're the only one talking about deserving to die.
Illness and economic dislocation ARE serious consequences.
