HCQ is different from CQ and has a much better safety profile. Z-Pak has great safety profile too. I have over a 100 pts on HCQ for lupus and RA longterm doing well. Well established as a safe immunomodulatory agent.
The French study were on higher dose with Azithromycin.
Chinese study showed viral negative in both groups around 90% at 7 days?
33% of HCQ went to pneunomia versus 46.7% Placebo? Go to pneumonia even though virus negative? maybe not pneumonia but ARDS because of cytokine storm? This study reads like crap.
