I do know for a fact the person with the most experience, Paul Maddon, the inventor of Pro 140, CEO of the company the bought it from, shelved Pro 140 and didn't think mono was remotely possible. I do know the key opinion leaders were saying mono was not possible. A more experienced CEO would have listened to them.
