As Stephen said the silicon solar panel manufacturing plant costs $1 billion to build, the silicon solar panel makers are basically selling at lost as the production cost is high and labor intensive. When the low cost "Made In India" quantum dot solar panels are out in the market, the dinosaur silicon solar panels will be obsolete.
