Remember, only 2 COVID19 patients have injected with leronlimab. Even if these 2 patients survive the virus, there is no way to show that leronlimab is what led to their survival. The death rate above 80 and with complications is in the 10-15% range, so 85% are expected to survive. Dr. Fauci is skeptical of the malaria drug and azithromycin so he will no doubt be skeptical of an unproven drug that was given to only 2 patients.
My hope is that the placebo controlled phase 2 will start soon and the results form that will definitively show if leronlimab works to treat symptoms of COVID19.
