The amount of money spent on those lunches or $25 gift cards will be insignificant and well worth it. I doubt 1000 people are going to watch it, even so if they did that's $25K and it only will take one sale out of those 1000 people to get the $25K back!
Indeed, advertising and marketing costs money. If you don't advertise, who's going to know about your product? Many companies pay big dollars to advertising firms. Here they are using in-house talent, and who better than someone who is well known and on our board of directors? This is something money can't buy, and giving out lunches or $25 gift cards is small potatoes.
