Not a doctor but the side effects actually stuck out to me.

I actually had a good friend who was "floxed" due to fluoroquinolones. I know that is probably a completely different class of drugs (antibiotics) but some of the side effects are similar and the name is similar so I think I have probably permanently blacklisted it in my mind due to the nightmarish experience I saw my friend go through.
Dr. Fauci (I know, not your favorite person) also pointed out in an interview last night that he wasn't convinced it was the magic drug Trump described. He seemed to imply that it hadn't been put through what we would deem as a true clinical trial.
A clip from the interview...the actual interview had a bit more content

As I watched that 11:30 press conference yesterday, I kept waiting for them to say Leronlimab and CytoDyn. I know I am obviously hugely biased, but when Dr. Hahn started by saying he was an oncologist I thought for sure that was going to be the transition to "and a drug that has shown great efficacy in cancer and just so happens to also be a promising coronavirus therapy..."
