i also saw this story in newsweek (along with a lot of garbage ads which is why i dont post that source)and saw part of the Trump press conference which addressed this
if this treatment ,as mits noted- not a vaccine- works, that could explain prognostications that the crisis will be over earlier than previously thought-
since regulatory approval for vaccines could take a long time despite emergency rules?( the israeli company which initially reported they may have a vaccine in 10 weeks was well advanced in studies for something similar as i already posted earlier- but a later article i saw by that company cautioned that studies and regulatory approval could still take some time)
