I watched the segment on that Tucker program you cited. Using Chloroquine, an old anti-malarial treatment and prophylactic (with primaquine) is great! I wonder if a French researcher had remembered some coincidental lower incidences of viral infections during malaria treatments. Whatever the reasons for the study, if it’s effective, it’s brilliant and deserves a Nobel Prize in Medicine. I wonder if the Chloroquine could also be used as a prophylactic in lieu of a vaccine For the immediate future. All we need now is the best detection method to be used.
