For what it's worth a family friend who is in the medical sales field just shared that he has sold more ventilators in the last couple of weeks than all of last year. Your point is a good one though...if they don't have the staff to run them, they won't get used.
A family member who is a newly minted nurse shared that her colleagues said it isn't even worth going to the hospitals now as there is nothing they can do unless you have severe respiratory symptoms. Assuming you agree, does that make your job harder as the cases you see are then likely more serious and have progressed further?
