It's not just those at the highest risk for coronavirus that will face worse outcomes if the hospitals are overwhelmed. Anybody who needs critical care will be in jeopardy. So even if you are a healthy younger person, if you get in a car crash or your child becomes very ill...the hospital won't be able to provide standard of care if it's already inundated with coronavirus patients.
