My opinion on all this is we are better off not doing anything and just letting the virus do its thing without distroying the economy. Sure alot of people might die but it's the better option than making the economy collapse. The government doesnt want to get blamed for not doing anything so they're doing something to not get blamed for it and by doing something they're going to make things worse.
