So when you match up the contract timeline with today’s 8K I get the following.
Today marks 2 weeks since we singled with EpiVax.
The contract says we should have selected the materials a week ago. (Task 1)
We are 1 week into the two weeks allotted to produce peptides. (Task 2)
A week from today we should be shipping our first peptide to China (First milestone)
That will begin 3 weeks of testing. Concluding 4/14. (Task 3)
Identify vaccine (Second milestone)
Small scale production, 2 weeks. (Task 4) 4/28
Animal testing 10 days (Task 5) 5/8
Human trials 2 weeks (Task 6) 5/22
Identify safe peptide (Third milestone)
Large scale manufacturing 3 weeks (Task 7) 6/12
Clinical study, 8 weeks (Task
8/7
Safe vaccine commercial ready. (Last milestone)
So if you leave some wiggle room for transportation, delays, adjustments, etc. by 9/1 we should be shipping vaccines.
I think that puts us a minimum of 6 months ahead of anyone else. If what the experts are saying and hoping is true and this virus goes quiet during the warmer weather that may be too late. However, if it lingers through the summer and begins to spike again in the fall we should be first in line ready to go.
